SUMMARY Land of giants : This program propelling you back to wander amongst the biggest creatures of all time. Recent evidence has revolutionised our ideas about what was big in the age of dinosaurs. In a time when monstrous creatures ruled the earth, South America was the land of the giants. To help us gauge a sense of the enormity of this world, we are led by a presenter who walks among these gigantic creatures, interacting with them as he searches to fulfil his ambition - to witness the larg.
SUMMARY The giant claw : The presenter journeys back to the sand dunes of Mesozoic Mongolia to track the owner of the largest claws of all time - Therizinosaurus. His adventure yields a series of vital and surprising clues - a nest, footprints, dung, a skeleton with a toothless skull - and eventually he is rewarded by a face-to-face encounter with the owner of the giant claw. But until then he must negotiate vast nesting sites, see off curious Velociraptors and avoid the terrifying Tarbosaurus.
